With the Keen UNEEK about to hit the shelves in Hikoi (1st Oct) we thought we’d do a review and investigate just what people are saying about this new weird looking and innovative design from our favourite footwear brand KEEN

The UNEEK is created from just two cords and a sole and offers an entirely new approach to footwear construction.

Every aspect of the design complements the natural shape of your foot…

But is it a shoe or a sandal? Keen say neither! It’s open air footwear with shoe like support but super breathable and easy to wash under the hose. They look really multipurpose and so comfy that they might just become my new best sandals this summer…

I’ve personally tried a pair on and they are quite awesome! Extremely soft and comfortable and above all – big drawcard- they are really light. The cord upper offer a nice wrap round protection over the foot.

Love them or hate them? Some are saying they are the coolest design ever and some say they want to kill the designer! What do you think?
