Over the time that Hikoi has been in business we have developed 2 great customer rewards programmes; Hikoi Birthday Vouchers and Hikoi Loyalty Dollars. They are our way of saying 'thanks' for shopping at Hikoi. The details of our rewards programmes are outlined below. Hikoi Birthday Vouchers

From August 1st 2011 Hikoi now ONLY email Birthday Vouchers. This is done on the first of every month. To qualify for your $10 Birthday Voucher you must be registered at Hikoi with a valid email address (can be a friends or a work address) and your date of birth. In the past we have sent these vouchers by the post. If you have stopped receiving them now the chances are we have no email address to send them to.  If you would like to continue to receive Hikoi Birthday Vouchers either

Hikoi Birthday Vouchers come with a unique code written on the voucher itself and are simple to redeem

Terms and conditions of Hikoi Birthday Vouchers*

- Hikoi Birthday Vouchers are valid for 6mnths
- Hikoi Birthday Vouchers are valid one per customer per purchase.
- Hikoi Birthday Vouchers are transferrable ie pass to a friend but still governed by the 2 rules above
- Hikoi Birthday Vouchers can be used on specials and clearance items
- Hikoi Birthday Vouchers can be used off products in promotions unless stated by Hikoi on the website promo page
- Hikoi Birthday Vouchers can be used in conjunction with Hikoi Loyalty Points unless stated by Hikoi on the website promo page
- Hikoi Birthday Vouchers are useable by both NZ and overseas customers
- Hikoi Birthday Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and no change will be given
- Hikoi Birthday Vouchers can not be used to pay off laybys but may be used at the time the layby is created

Hikoi Loyalty Dollars

At Hikoi we believe in loyalty and in rewarding our customers for shopping with us. That is why, from your very first purchase in any of our stores and Online, you qualify for Hikoi Loyalty Dollars!

If you are registered with Hikoi, every $20 that you spend with us earns 1 Hikoi Loyalty Dollar. 1 Loyalty Dollar has an equivalent value to $1NZ. As from your second purchaseon,at any Hikoi store AND here Online you are able to use these Loyalty Dollars as discount off any future purchases (done manually at present).  Dollars are ongoing on all purchases (including specials) and Dollars never expire!  They will be waiting for you the next time you come to purchase in any Hikoi store **

Each time you shop at Hikoi our friendly staff will inform you of how many Dollars you have to use but you can always enquire about how many Dolars you may have prior to your visit by emailing info@hikoi.co.nz or enquiring in any one of our four stores in Taupo, Mt Maunganui, New Plymouth or Cambridge. For online purchases Dollars are taken off manually by our Online Team at the time of purchase.  From time to time Hikoi may run promotions for which Dollars will not be redeemable on certain promotion items but this will be clearly outlined on our Promotions Page on our website. Remember Dollars are always earned on all purchases and will be there for you on your next purchase with us. In some instances our customers like to accrue Dollars for bigger purchases later on. If this is what you would like to do then you need to let us know when you purchase by writing a word in the comments box. We are currently working on including an Online function whereby our Online customers can self-manage their own Points and you will be notified of this additional benefit when it happens.

Hkoi Loyalty Dollars FAQ's

Q: Do I earn points on Specials?
A: Yes! Even if you buy a discounted or sales item you still earn and accumulate Hikoi Rewards Points.

Q: How do I know how many Loyalty Dollars I have?
A: Easy! Simply give your name to any Hikoi team member and they can tell you. Alternatively, email Hikoi to find out.

Q: Can I use Dollars and Vouchers together?
A: Most of the time, however there may be a particular promotions or sales that Hikoi run for where we do not redeem either Birthday Vouchers or Hikoi Loyalty Dollars. Terms and Conditions will always be cleary outlined on the Hikoi Promotions Page. Dollars are always earned on all purchases and they never expire*
